The Sanctuants
The Sanctuants, powerful female counterparts to the Mantamaji, were created by the Enlightened with the ability to command biogenic energy within their bodies. They were the nurturing and strong mothers of the protectors of Earth, giving birth to both Mantamaji and Sanctuant offspring.
Once guardians of humanity, they were nearly wiped out after Sirach’s death 3,000 years ago, battling alone against relentless enemies. Now, only a handful of Sancutants remain—hunted, hardened, and focused solely on survival. Led by the mysterious Collective, they’ve turned away from the people they once swore to protect.
Their strength and fierce independence have become both shield and burden as they fight to stay alive. But as they navigate a world that seems to reject them, one question looms: can the Sanctuants reclaim their role as protectors of the innocent, or are they doomed to remain outcasts, caught in a never-ending cycle of violence and loss?
